Introduction to QuickBooks Pro
Prerequisites: Basic bookkeeping and computer knowledge required.
Goals & Objectives: To acquire basic knowledge of the Quick Books Accounting Program.
Class Description: Participants in this six session course will be introduced to Intuit's powerful small business management software. Learn to use features to track and manage sales and expenditures; manage and reconcile bank accounts and payables; automatically create reports and graphs; and set up and maintain company files.
Manual Bookkeeping
Prerequisites: Math aptitude helpful.
Goals & Objectives: To acquire basic knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
Class Description: Students will learn the procedural fundamentals of bookkeeping, how to read a financial statement, understand profit and loss centers and how everything ties together in the general ledger. The systems and procedures of accounting are emphasized and put into simple language. Students need to bring a calculator to class.
